Here goes...

Well, since I have been getting a lot of grief about not blogging since Christmas, here goes... Nothing much has been going on with us. Same old work, eat, sleep and repeat. Today mom and I went to the mall to have her ring inspected, it passed with flying colors thank goodness. We did a little shopping at the mall but left with no bags. We had lunch at Applebee's, yummy and brought home Papa Murphy's pizza for the family (all but Eric, sorry you had to work babe but "somebody's gotta, right"). Well, thats all for now. I will try and do a better job of blogging. Off to bed : )

Let the Chaos begin...

This weekend is always crazy busy for us and it all starts tomorrow. Tomorrow we go to moms around 3 and spend the afternoon and night there with family (yah, Ethan's first Christmas). Monday we spend with Eric's family at Grandma and Grandpa Olson's and Tuesday we get together at Grandma and Grandpa Ecker's around noon and after that we finish up at Aunt Lynn's for the Schumacher's Christmas. Wednesday its back to work for me (ugh). Eric will still be on Christmas break (lucky)... Merry Christmas everyone. I hope everyone has a safe, healthy and happy Christmas.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention that we wont be opening any presents on Christmas because Lexie (our dog) did the honors for us a few days ago. : )

New Do!

Yesterday I took the entire day off to use up the remainder of my vacation. I hung out with mom and Ethan in the morning and then in the afternoon I had a hair appt. with Tina at the salon. I was ready for a change. I had 8 INCHES CUT OFF. (2 inches short of 10 which I could have donated to locks of love). I also have some bangs (swoopy bangs I call them) which also adds a new look. We have our work Christmas party tonight at the Radison Paper Valley in Appleton so I am planning on spiral curling them with the curling iron to give them a more dressy look. Tomorrow we have Christmas at the Olsons for the Beyer side, so it will be a busy weekend.

Float Building

This week has been a busy week at work. I was put in charge of coordinating a float for the Wrightstown Christmas Parade on Saturday and of course not many people were interested in volunteering. So I worked late on Monday and Tuesday and we got it finished. It looks pretty cute for the amount of time and volunteers we had. We did a Family theme. So we made a big fireplace and a big couch and I went to Menards and got a big rug and mom let us use her 10ft tree so we put lights and decorations on that and the plan is to have some kids on the float and an adult (that would be me) reading the the kids. I will try and take some pictures. Sure hope we don't get nasty weather like they are predicting. I will keep you posted.

The first picture is of our living room, the second and third picture is of the pots mom and I did up on Friday. We ran to Honeymoon Acres to buy some greens and then I cut the bittersweet at moms.

Christmas Decorations

Here are some pictures (just for Courtney and Kim) of our Christmas decorations this year. The pictures really don't look as good as the real thing, but since you cant stop over to see them this will have to do. I want to see pictures of your stuff too : )

Oh Chrismas Tree Oh Christmas Tree

Eric and I went this afternoon to pick out the perfect Christmas Tree. I love picking out our Christmas tree. It only took us about 15 minutes to find the perfect one and $28.00 later we have the most gorgeous tree in town.
