Happy New Year!!!

Happy New Year to everyone... Its hard to believe that its already 2009 (well almost). Time sure does fly. I have no plans for tonight. Eric had to work so I am going to spend some time with Owen and just relax.

Tomorrow my friend Kelly is going to come over to visit (a visit way too over due!). Later on in the evening were going to get together with the Olson's for Steak and Lobster. Its somewhat of a family tradition (a pretty nice one if you ask me : ) I know I am sure looking forward to it.

Owens 3 Month photo shoot

Owen will be three months on Wednesday. I cant believe it. Aunt Kelly came over to take his 3 month photos and some Christmas pictures for our Christmas card. They turned out really cute. He rolled over for Eric and I today. He rolled over a month or so ago already (for mom and the Olson's) but we had not seen it. It was really cute and very exciting for us to see.

Owen in his reindeer outfit (Babies 1st Christmas) and his Christmas Outfit. He didn't stay happy for too long so the photo shoot was pretty short.

Its Beginning to Feel alot Like Christmas!

Last weekend Eric, Owen and I all went to get our tree. We always go to Sherwood to pick out the best one. It took less than 10 minutes and we were on our way back home. Eric helped me put the lights on it and then he was off to go hunting. Owen and I listened to Christmas music, sipped hot chocolate (well I did : ) and he watched me hang the decorations on the tree. After I decorated the tree I put up some of my snowmen. It took me all day to decorated. After all, I am a mom and have other obligations now... I started and finished all my Christmas shopping last weekend as well. Mom and I went on Black Friday. I wrapped all the presents and they are all under the tree ready for Christmas. With all the snow we have been getting, it sure does feel like Christmas...

Happy Thanksgiving....

I know its early but I am just too excited to wait.. So HAPPY THANKSGIVING! This is our favorite holiday. What don't you love about getting together with family, reflecting on what you are all thankful for and eating tons of great food.
Tomorrow is lunch at mom and dad's at 11:30 and then 1:00 starts "round 2". Its also Owen's First Thanksgiving so that's also exciting for us. Well, I hope you all have an awesome Thanksgiving.

First Snow

We got the fist snowfall of the winter last night and into this a.m. We got about 2-3 inches. The roads were terrible and by the time I got to work I thought I was going to have a nervous break down. I forgot how much I hate driving on bad roads. They weren't plowed so it was nauseating driving and not being able to see the center line or the sides of the roads. I made it to work with one minute to spare. That was the latest I have ever punched the time clock in the three years I have been there. I am always 15 minutes early. Well, not today. I even left 45 minutes early which should have been more than plenty of time. OH, well I guess I better get used to it since this is only the beginning...
Owen had a doctors apt. on Thursday and he now weights 11.5 pounds and is 23 inches long. He is growing like a weed. He is smiling and "cooing" like crazy. Were having so much fun watching him grow and change everyday.

Happy Birthday to Me...

Today is my birthday. The big "24." Wow, next year I will be half way to "50" (YIKES). I had a really good birthday weekend. Saturday Eric and I went out to dinner in Appleton and Owen went to Grandma Olson's for a few hours. Of course he rolled over AGAIN and I didn't see it. The first time was at moms when she had him for a few hours while Eric and I worked on a school project he needed to turn in (long story). We thought it was a fluke when he did it at moms but I guess not. He is such a strong boy, its unbelievable. Its so amazing how fast they grow and how much they change.

Today, we slept in (HAHA) well that's a lie because with kids that never happens. Eric made a big breakfast for me and then we went to Great Grandma/pa Olson's for lunch and to watch the Packer Game. After that we headed to mom and dads to visit. Grandma Nancy stopped in to say Happy Birthday and to vist as well. It was a really relaxing day.
