Eric and I took a 5 Year Anniversary trip with out the kids. First time since Owen was born and he will be three in Sept. It was so needed, time to spend together to rekindle our love : ) We had a fabulous time. We had dinner at Marley's (a must) Friday night and had the Rum Grouper (AMAZING). Saturday we had a couples massage and it was so awesome we both loved it and would do that again. Saturday night we had a nice dinner at House of Embers. It was such a beautiful resort and the weather was wonderful. The only thing we missed was kayaking on Saturday. It rained so we headed downtown and walked through all the shops.

Makeover!
Wednesday Eric and I decided to makeover our "office" that had become a dumping ground for miscellaneous items and we completely gutted the room of all its contents including the computer desk (what a hassle to take apart and move to the sun room) we dont use and make it into the kids play room. Its so nice to have all the toys (we have way too many) in one location for easy clean up. The boys have yet to play in there but hey that makes it even easier to keep clean : )

Mom and I ran the Sole Burner this morning. A beautiful morning at that. Sorry I dont have a picture of us in our cool shirts but we pretty much rocked! I am so proud of us for being able to do it and together at that. Enjoying the sunshine today with the boys. Tomorrow is Mothers Day so make sure you let your mom know how awesome she is. Being a mom is a tough job! One that pays the best (in love).
Happy Mothers Day to all the amazing moms out there : )
Enjoy your day!!!

Date Night and Easter
Eric and I decided to have a date night tonight. We honestly cant remember the last time we went out, just the two of us.. Eric thinks it was a year ago, YIKES! We went to a somewhat local Supper Club and enjoyed steak on his parents : ) (they gave us a gift certificate for X-Mass). I had 1/2 a fritter, a salad, french onion soup, a 6 oz tenderloin with prawns and steamed aspargus. My tenderloin melted in my mouth it was amazing. Eric had the bacon wrapped blue cheese tenderloin with a salad, fruit, aspargus and mushrooms. I had a bite and it was sooooo good. We ended up taking leftovers home and only spending $20.00 (yeah, cheap dates). We ran some errands afterward and were home by 7:30. I know were a little lame... what can we say. Evan has a phobia of some sort and once he realizes were not home he freaks out and cries for, well until we get home.. He seems a little young to do that but this is the second or third time it has happened when we leave him with family. As soon as we walked in the door he went by Eric and immediately stopped crying. Its bizarre. He loves us : )
Well tomorrow is Easter! We colored Eggs with the boys this morning and Owens basket is ready for finding as well as the eggs that we hid. It seems a little funny to celebrate Easter with eggs and baskets but its a tradition Eric has celebrated for ever and we have decided to keep it going with our boys. Of course the true meaning of Easter (Jesus) will be shared with our boys as well.
He is Risen!
Greatest man in history, named Jesus, had no servants, yet they called him Master. Had no degree, yet they called him Teacher. Had no medicines, yet they called him Healer. He had no army, yet kings feared Him. He won no military battles, yet He conquered the world. He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him..... He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today.
